Sometimes, things seems hard because we treat our decisions like they are cast in stone. Thing's change and that's okay. At times the next best thing to do is work your way forward based off of experience, you do better when you know better and no one can take away the lessons etched on you by life away from you. Let’s say that’s a special gift from life to you…

I think getting overwhelmed comes part and parcel with trying to be and trying to do everything all at once. “Stand for nothing and fall for everything”. You will literally FALL face flat when you don’t choose what to go for and when to go for it. Yes, there is so much that needs to get done, so much you’d like to do, but remember there is only so little of you. The question now becomes, “What do I then give myself to, when do I come into my little bubble ,hone my energy and recharge before I put myself out there again”… Essentially “How do you strike a balance in the hustle and bustle that life proves to be and take time to myself”. My little loaded answer would be “Lead a purposeful and intentional life” Let us break that down. Purpose is the reason for which something is done or created, or for which it exists, and intention is an aim or plan. So, living a purposeful and intentional life means having a plan and reason for the things you do. Simple right? No? it really isn’t that easy to be honest .Creating a vision and living a life of intent is important in discovering your purpose.

“My purpose is……” Defining your purpose doesn’t really come easy when you don’t have a vision for your life. The vision doesn’t have to be clear, but it has to be there. It can change depending on the season you’re in in your life. The slightest idea of where you want to go and what you want to achieve gives your life meaning. It gives you a sense of confidence in what you do, and acts as a cardinal system for the direction of your life. When you know what you are working towards you can always tell when you’ve veered off track. Knowing YOUR realistic ideal end result gives you confidence in what you do. You create a vision, set goals that align with the vision then find ways to work on and implement them, slowly and day by day you will get closer to reaching and living out your purpose.

In everything you do remember to discipline yourself to focus and get things done. In as much as I could say live a purposeful and intentional life, we need to highlight the importance of disciplining our minds to achieve what we want.
